'Celebrating Together' contains 18 tracks that fuse Asian stylings with Western easy listening to create a worship album that reflects the worship of the Asian Church community where services frequently employ a cross cultural approach. The sales from the album go to support three relevant charities that have connections in Asia. From a musical point of view, it's an interesting hybrid with classic songs like "More Love, More Power" and "Thank You For Saving Me" reworked. Asian languages are used and Asian instrumentation is employed here and there and as a result, this bridges the gap between the two communities. Overall though I'd have preferred more Asian influences and less easy listening. However, as a way of bringing people together, this is an excellent project; though I would like to know more about where these tracks came from and who is playing, etc. The album is woefully lacking in any information though I suspect that 'Asia Worships' has been plundered to provide tracks.
