I have to confess when I received a copy of this I quietly groaned inside, having heard a number of "Celtic worship" CDs recently; I was expecting another disc to file under the "another Celtic recording" file. Listening to the first track, an instrumental, only seemed to confirm this! However, after a few listens there emerged a set of very "peaceful" recordings which really began to minister. The disc contains vocals from Simon Goodall, Su Reeves Basset, Joanne Hogg (Iona) and the hugely underrated Shona McDonald amongst others covering songs such as "Our God Is An Awesome God" and "Be Thou My Vision" as well as five instrumentals. A highly soothing and worshipful recording... but it requires repeated listening!
