Great to be able to give the tip off that this great acappella ensemble's recordings are now available here, though you may have to track down a classical music specialist dealer. This 12-man outfit is the top USA, and probably the world, vocal group of its kind, covering a vast array of music. This CD's subtitle is 'From Thomas Tallis To Bill Evans', the latter being a jazz pianist in case you don't know. Material includes Tallis' "If Ye Love Me", Orlando Gibbons' "O Clap Your Hands" and Andrea Gabrieli's 16th century "Magnificat A 12". Two spirituals covered are The Pilgrim Travellers' "Straight Street" and the traditional "Jesus Met The Woman At The Well". Several standards are covered, including Berlin's "Blue Skies" and "Shenandoah". Singing like you've never heard, fantastic voices, stunning arrangements. Essential.
