Dove Award winner Cheri sent a copy of this Kickstarter funded album to her guitar maestro uncle, Phil, who stated that she "wouldn't have been able to write these songs if you hadn't gone through the things you've been through." The project was also produced by the singer herself. Overall the album reflects a broader approach than Cheri's previous release 'So I Can Tell', lyrically the songs bear testimony to her uncle's comments. "Overcome", for example, is a powerful, emotional plea to know what the writer can say when the world is as it is. It is not until track five that the collection becomes more light-hearted with "Lucky To Be Breathing Your Air", which could easily become a radio favourite (although the term lucky maybe an issue). Another standout track is "I Love Your Company" where it reflects on a one to one conversation. This album is a grower, although musically it offers no surprises; lyrically it speaks in many ways to the times we live in.
