This is a welcome re-issue/repackage of the important Jesus music band's first album for Light Records, circa 1975. It sounds like it had a considerably bigger budget than the group's earlier albums on Maranatha! Music with one or two full orchestrations. Pleasingly, some of their old friends from their Maranatha! days make an appearance - Fred Field and John Mehler (LoveSong), John Wickham (The Way) and Alex MacDougall (Daniel Amos). Standouts are the title track which has a strong 2nd Chapter Of Acts flavour while "Holy Spirit Song" is genuinely uplifting. If you like the idea of Carpenters-flavoured Jesus music, this is for you though I wouldn't say that lead singer Marsha Carter Stevens was in the same league as Karen. Still, this retains much of its period charm.
