The short answer to the title question is, of course. they don't. The best music is undoubtedly all age music. Five year olds sing Martin Smith's "What A Friend I've Found", 75 year olds leap around to Doug Horley's "We Want To See Jesus Lifted High". Strong melodies, timeless concepts, user friendly language, songs for everyone. This collection of songs by Children Worldwide's "songwriting friends" generally fits the all age bill. Crouch and Mudie's "Grace Is", John Hardwick's "Those Who Put Their Hope In The Lord" and Steve Morgan Gurr's "May My Life Be A Thank You" are excellent all age examples and I'll be using all three at a teenagers residential I'm at soon! The slight downside is the unnecessary chattiness on "You're Not Too Young", disappointing adult vocals on "All God's Creation" and outright kiddiness of "Anytime, Anywhere" but all in all, a pleasant 12 tune collection.
