Chimera are a Cambridge band who had an album Conceal Me' released in 1997, play pubs and folk clubs all round the Cambridge area and now turn in an intriguing, five songs and a remix of their haunting, moody music written by their lead singer Susie Beattie. The lady's voice is breathy and evocative, the arrangements are stark and beautifully recorded by Mr Magi Dawn, Andy Cross, and the lyrics intelligent and lyrical. Contemplative pop rock for sophisticated palates.
