This album is another in Kingsway's 'Worship Leaders' series, and features singer/songwriter Chris Bowater with mainly his own compositions, most of which are slow, worshipful but often challenging, calling us to a "Holy Passion", and to live lives which are uncompromising in zeal for God. In this respect the album is very powerful and will I'm sure touch many lives. But to me it is rather over produced and predictable. The arrangements, the singing and sound quality are almost too perfect, and to be honest I was getting bored by half way through. There is nothing wrong with excellence and striving after quality. But where is the freshness, the tingle, the originality? Chris Bowater's songs deserve something sharper than this.
