At last! A grown up album a 30 something can appreciate that doesn't sound plastic or cringe-worthy - one you can play to your mates. A three hour car journey was recently filled by me playing the CD over and over again. I could have written in Mundy's influences before reading them; INXS, U2 amongst the listed. I could also hear the Teardrop Explodes in there somewhere. Great sensitive guitar throughout. Hailing from Queensland, Australia, you can sense that the writing, playing and singing in this album has obviously been something Mundy has spent a lot of time planning, and it's certainly been well worth the wait. Cut first to the fifth track; "Turn Another Page" and play it again and again: personally I'd promote the album on this track. Mundy's producer, Stuart Stuart, is to receive credit for not overproducing a very valuable addition to my CD collection. My one criticicsm? Not long enough, hurry up with the next one!
