Not to be confused with the rock-orientated ‘Variations On A Theme: Salvation’, reviewed in CR74, this is the guitar virtuoso doing his classical thing and though Chris is no Julian Bream, he does have a deft touch on Regondi’s “Study Number 8” and Paganini’s “Etude 2 in D Major”. Soothing music from a master musician.
