Christian City Church based in Sydney has released many praise recordings. The Church was planted by Phil and Christine Pringle in 1980 and there have been over 20 albums released since, including a much acclaimed studio album by Chris herself in 1985 ('Spirit Of Faith'). This album (split into three sections - Anticipation, Encounter and Response) was recorded live in May 2005 and features vocal and writing from Joe Pringle along with Jacky Brigstock, Linda Bax and Nikki Fletcher amongst others with a guitar-based feel throughout. The recording fits into the Hillsongs type category with well polished production, arrangements and musicianship offering a balanced mix of energetic and intimate songs that do lead you into the presence of God. My highlight of the album would be "Hiding Place" which is truly anointed. Highly recommended.
