A fine debut indeed with all the class you'd expect from the Peter Bunetta and Rick Chadacoff (Michael Bolton, Kenny G etc) production team, a set of songs that have clearly been hand-picked for quality and a voice that has enough soul licks to ooze passion but enough control and sensitivity to caress the tenderest ballad. Standouts are the funky, radio friendly "Give Him Roots" and the inspirational ballad duet with Kathy Troccoli "One Heart" but from stem to stern 'My Place Is With You' is an outstanding pop gospel album.
