If you like Sarah Mason, Rebecca St James, Jars Of Clay, Smalltown Poets, Sixpence None The Richer and all the other Christian acoustic based bands you'll like these guys. With vocals by Alison Ogren sounding very similar to that of Sarah Mason creates quite a rocky feel on songs like "Why", "Concerns", "Free" and "In The Sunset", but mostly the songs are soft with acoustic intros and piano. A change in feel on "My Blindness" with a more folk influence and guitarist Matt Berry on lead vocals. Then a great track called "Chasing After" with only piano and Alison's vocal ends the album perfectly. One downfall is what the CD comes in. The packaging is quite tame with just a photo and the word 'CLEAR' on the cover and when you open it you're hit with a whole page of small printed credits, (which I still haven't got through!) -just a bit boring that's all. A good album over all just a few too many influences; a bit more originality and it would be great.
