On this recording I was engaged by the creative bass work especially on "Listen" and the acoustic guitar on "Why?". The electric guitars were a little too understated at times, noticeably on "Held In Your Loving Arms". The drums have an indie sound which probably contributed to my indifference (I'm the first to admit I never like indie). The harmonies were uninteresting - if it doesn't add anything, why do it? The lyrics could be a little more inspired - try reading some poetry and getting in touch with a metaphor or two. And as for the hidden track - ??? Maybe it's an in joke with the band and their friends, but I missed the point (it's a version of "My Old Man's A Dustman" in case you're wondering). All in all, I think this band demonstrate potential and I have no doubt that there will be some people who like their music very much indeed.
