This was first reviewed last year as an import however it is now available over this side of the pond. Cheryl 'Coko' Clemons was part of the R&B hitmakers SWV and both the experience brought from SWV and her background in church gospel music serve her well on this album. The funkiness of tracks such as "Mighty God" which features a cameo from her mother to the poppy radio friendly beats of "Clap Your Hands" showcase Coko's considerable talent. Also evident is the genuine passion that Coko has for God, enforced in the majestic landscape of tracks like "Holy". Coko's vocal delivery evident on songs like "Endow Me" manages to be both delicate yet strong, complimenting the strong arrangements and soulful cords. If you missed this one on import don't wait another second to add it to your collection.
