Instrumental versions of Maranatha songs create a pleasant three quarters of an hour's worth of listening. I found this relaxing after a tiring day and though not too familiar with Maranatha I found myself humming along at times. The 10 tracks include older numbers such as 1976's "He Has Made Me Glad", more recent releases such as "Great I Am" and an arrangement of John Newton's megahit "Amazing Grace". The accompaniment is sometimes rather synthetic - drum machine, keyboards and synthesizer - but as I generally prefer acoustic instruments I'm inclined to be biased. However, the saxophones - tenor, alto and soprano - are among my favourite instruments when played well, so this makes up for the accompaniment, in my opinion. All in all a most agreeable listen.
