After releasing nine albums during the last 12 years or so, this 'best of compilation plots the life of top gospel outfit, Commissioned. Featuring some great harmonies and soulful lead vocals, it's a walk down memory lane for seasoned fans, or a great introduction to new ones. The funky style of "King Of Glory" and "Second Chance" didn't appeal to me though funksters might appreciate. Typical contemporary, black gospel is what Commissioned are all about and there are a number of tremendous tracks on show. "Running Back To You" immediately sets the standard while narrating the story of the sinner, while ballads such as "I Am Here" and "We Shall Behold Him" carry on the good work. Softer tunes like "Secret Place" bring you closer to the Lord's heart and "More Than I" will melt even the hardest of hearts.
