Demo CDs are 10 a penny with the advent of digital recording. This one really is: nine tracks in 20 minutes, and a Spartan acoustic production. Corinne operates in a similar territory musically to Julia Fordham, Silje Nergaard and Juliet Turner. Guitar and piano-based songs of life, love and faith from a female Christian perspective are the menu here. What little we get to hear is of an extremely high quality. My only disappointment was that the CD was just a demo. I'd love to hear full-length, fully produced versions of these songs and more. If this really isn't enough (and it isn't), there is one further unreleased track available on her MySpace page. Someone give her a recording contract and put the necessary money behind her. We have a major talent in waiting here, as capable of gaining a hearing outside the Church as inside.
