Puzzling why our friends at Spirit Music should consider Thomas Phillips and Kimberly Pottorff (the Californian duo who are Crossways) worthy of UK distribution for this limp selection of pop, country and retro will surely have little appeal in the marketplace. The best cuts have a country flavour and Thomas singing lead. But when poor Kimberly takes over the lead mike as on the '50s-sounding rockaballad "Angel" the effect is dire. The absence of a drummer or indeed much in the way of accompaniments on 'In Everything I Do' doesn't help the overall effect either. A weak effort.
