This compilation of tracks from the gospel hitmakers is just what you would expect - punchy horns, lots of piano, big choirs and a big voice at the front. The recordings, taken from a number of Coley albums, are mainly high-octane, energetic, punchy songs and vibrant, energetic worship, with a couple of more mellow moments in the middle and words of encouragement and prayer from Coley to open "It Shall Be Done". Coley, veteran of the gospel scene, has plenty of material to call upon and this nine song selection gives a flavour of his award-winning career. From the funky jazz chords of the opening track to the sermon in song of "Sweet Communion" this is gospel "done big", encouraging and powerful, filled with Scripture and designed to get you out of your seat and moving in praise to God! It's top notch stuff, and those who are already Coley fans will love it, whilst those who haven't heard much gospel music could do much worse than to start here in exploring the passionate, faith building and life affirming set.
