The album doesn't take off until a third of the way through, it eventually reaches a pinnacle and drops off a sheer brilliant height with the title track reprise which is mediocre. Maybe this was a choice of songs, themes of which have been more than adequately covered in recent years by writers who capture profound truths and communicate them simply. The biggest musical bonus is a choice selection of world class musicians. The album comes to life with an earnest "We're Not Ashamed" (of the gospel of Christ) and some beautiful devotionals, "I Believe In Jesus" and "Still Amazing" under the tender hearted ministry of guest leader Dave Bilborough. And it reaches the heights when two friends from Koinonia, bass player Abraham Labpriel and Justo Almario whose celestial sax playing lifts this arrangement of my favourite hymn "Amazing Grace" out of its ordinariness and heralds a time of worship that sounds out of this world!

If this is the album that was recorded live in New Orleans, I was in the choir and would like to find a copy of this CD.
