A mixture of self-penned compositions and some old favourites, this is the first national release by Dave Clemo, and also the first country music release from ICC. Country gospel with its emphasis on lyrics has great evangelising potential and the message certainly comes over loud and clear on numbers like "Change Of Heart" and "I Fought The Battle, You Won The War", aided by good, catchy tunes and memorable hooks. There's also a real sense of enjoyment and good musicianship on this recording. This is high quality, traditional country music with a British flavour, likely to appeal to anyone whose musical interests lie in that direction.
