The name of Dave Cleveland can be found on the credits of a host of albums from top name Christian artists, which include Steven Curtis Chapman, Anointed and Michael W Smith. This album marks the return to the early worship roots of the Nashville guitarist. Dave can play any style with masterly ease and what attracts me about this 12-track album that even with these well tried oldies there is freshness. Many different influences are drawn upon to recreate "Give Thanks", "More Precious" and "O Lord, You're Beautiful", a song that rekindles for me memories of the impact of the late Keith Green's music on my life. I detect hints of jazz and bluegrass as guitar, mandolin, dobro and banjo are called upon to interpret the varied moods of worship. 'Guitars In Worship' is not the album title to spark enthusiasm in this listener, but all the more enjoyable to discover its delights that waft across your soul like a cool breeze in the furnace of a summer heat wave.

Someone gave me this CD and sorry to say it just lay on a shelf in my office untill about a month ago. After listening to it once, it is my favorite worship music. I listen to every day, sometimes for hours. I have spent the last year working to improve my music skills. I studied a course by Steve Krenz, L&M Guitar, and I am tring to learn these songs as you recorded them. I would love to purchase the Guitar TAB music to this CD if it exists. I have searched for this style for some time now. It was in my heart. I even tried to describe it to my friends who play and you have captured it in your music. Thanks. I am planning to purchase more of your music for listening and study.

Dear Dave,

Hi Dave I am 13 years old and have learned how to play part of your guitar song "He Is Exalted". It is one of the most fun guitar songs I have ever played, but my teacher cant figure out what your guitar is tuned to. Please would you tell us what to tune our guitars to so we could play this truly amazing song.

Hello Dave:

I have been trying to find the person to contact about a special project. I heard a particular song in which you were the instrumentalist. I am a vocalist and loved it so much that I would like permission to record my vocals with your instrumental. Please contact me so we can talk directly about it. Your interpretation of the song is wonderful and like none I've ever heard. I hope to hear from you soon.

Thank you so much for your consideration.

As I struggle to meet the demands of life and stay strong in the faith I began looking for music that set the tone for this, for my quiet time. I came on Dave Cleveland quite by accident. As soon as I can find where to buy this CD online I am going to do so. Thank you Dave for your gift of music.

I just recently bought your CD and am in love with it. I am now browsing the web for more worship CD's. You are truly a remarkable artist and am looking forward to hearing more of your worship tracks. This is probably the most listened to CD in my collection. God has truly blessed you with great talent.
