Those believers looking for the very best in contemporary worship recordings will undoubtedly have already discovered the output of Forerunner Music, the label offshoot of the International House Of Prayer in Kansas City. IHOP's annual Onething conference draws 25,000 young people and this set, recorded last December, showcase all the strengths of IHOP worship with passionate anthems and haunting reflective pieces both brought to the listener with utter conviction. There are numerous standouts on this set with the powerhouse opener "Worthy Of It All" sung with gritty rock aplomb by David Brymer, the rather quirky "Eyes To See" sung by Zachary Simms and possibly best of all, the beautifully haunting "Measure Of A Man" performed by Brymer and IHOP's best known worship leader Misty Edwards. These songs are not pared down for radio airplay and once or twice will to the casual listener seem overlong. But for those wanting to soak in the presence of God this is powerful prophetic music which will draw many listeners closer to the Godhead.
