This disc contains a selection of 17 songs penned by the veteran worship leader/songwriter today based at Leicester Christian Fellowship, the most well known of these being the classic title song. A compilation of recordings from long out-of-print albums, the arrangements here, although competent, are clearly showing their age and remind me of visits to Bible weeks in my teenage years (a lifetime away now!). So moer for worship nostalgists (if here is such a thing) though the effect is not unpleasant, just a bit wallpaper-like. Lyrically the songs are strong and could certainly still be used perfectly well in worship - subjects covered include praise/acknowledgement of God's greatness ("Mighty In Power"), the security of being in God ("Living Under The Shadow"), submission ("Be It Unto Me As You Have Said"), living in his will ("As I Stand Here Today") and more. Having said that, I would suggest that if you wish to use the songs it would be more beneficial to buy a songbook to play/sing them from unless you're particularly keen to relive the glory days of the Bradford house church movement.
