David moved from Colorado to Nashville to work as an engineer and producer on other people's music, but is also creating his own stuff now. These are five attractive worship songs, with a compulsive vibe and catchy choruses. I found the epic production atmospheric but rather overwhelming, especially the booming, relentless bass while David doesn't possess a strong voice and he tends to swallow his words, so the lyrics often get lost. This is a shame as the lyrics are all thoughtful and Christ-centric. The melodies and arrangements are also a bit similar to each other in feel and tempo. Having said that, my favourite track is "Beautiful Sound" which gets a great West Coast sound going while there is some nice country guitar picking and vocal harmony on "Friend Of The Bridegroom".
