That's Birmingham, Alabama, not West Midlands. As followers of inspirational and Southern gospel will know, David has one of the best voices on the scene - able to move from Russ Taff-like blue-eyed soul emoting to Steve Green-style balladry with the dexterity of the consummate professional. This live recording shows all his vocal dexterity while the accompanying orchestra are the kind of highly polished ensemble you get when no expense is spared. The songs here range from beloved hits from his previous albums, to hymnody, and some newies as well. And throughout the message of Jesus as Lord of all is clearly conveyed. Some will find the theatric bombast of the proceedings too hard to take but those who have warmed to David's albums will want this live concert recording made in September '07.
