A handsome £6.00 from the sale of each album goes to Imperial Cancer Research. In such a venture it would be mean spirited to tear this album to shreds. It's low budget recording, recorded on Dave's ADAT with a few church friends. Several of the songs are about the environment, some are Christian based and there's some instrumentals too (Dave plays sax, guitar, keyboards and did the drum programming). Sadly, the lack of production control is obvious. Some of the playing is a tad out of tune while on "Gotta Have Love" for instance it is far from being the "funky number" it claims to be and has very poor vocals. A brave venture, but next time David, have fewer songs and work harder to iron out the rough spots.
