My first recollection of a song by Dave Wellington was "Jesus How We Love You", which I heard for the first time last year when it was sung at our fellowship one Sunday. I was intrigued to hear a good song from a songwriter that I had not heard of before. Directly I received the tape, 'Run Deep', I was therefore looking forward to hearing it - I was not disappointed. I am not too sure that all the songs have what it takes, but there are definitely some such as "I Will Fight The Good Fight" and "Piercing The Darkness" which are two very good openers. Also, "By Still Waters" which is sung acapella is well done. The production was good with a slight Wimber flavour to it. The only thing I would say is that side two needed to have more of a variety in styles of songs because towards the end I tended to drift off into my own thoughts.

i am desperately trying to find my cassette of "Run Deep" to play "By Still Waters" at my sister-in-law's funeral this Friday, 6th December 2013. It was played at her husband and brother (my late husband)'s funeral and I would dearly love to buy a copy by then. Please let me know how I may do that. Thank you in anticipation.
