Walk On Water lead worship at Kingswood Baptist Church in Basildon. A lot of these songs have been written by David Woodward and other band members and are typical of the worship songs you will hear performed by church music groups on a Sunday morning up and down the country. Some of the songs have good lyrics but I found the vocals and musical arrangements a little tame and samey. Another problem is the lead vocals are weak and I found myself looking at the lyrics and wondering if some of the songs might be more appealing if sung in a rap, hip-hop style. "In Charge Of It All", "Put On The Full Armour Of God" and "Heavenly Minded" could easily be adapted for instance! But if you prefer your worship songs in an easy listening/folk-tinged style then perhaps you will enjoy this.

Well, as the lead singer, all I can do is thank the reviewer for their comments. I will take them on board for the next CD which is under production as I write. Any review is a good review as far as I'm concerned. Thanks.
