Definitely grown up worship music this, for those who enjoy singers of a more classical and operatic persuasion. Debbie Holmes turns her excellent vocal talents to singing the praises of God working with the award winning accompanist, pianist Jakob Rothoff. The album moves from the contemporary praise of "I See The Lord" through hymns like "How Great Thou Art", "The Lord's Prayer" and "It Is Well With My Soul" to more operatic performances like "O Mio Babbino Caro". Armed with a distinctive voice that soars to the highest of highs with consummate flourish, there's no doubting Debbie's talents. Used in praise of God, 'Thirsty' becomes something spiritual and beautiful.
