Des Pilling hails from Wigan and is described as an evangelist and outreach worker who released two independent albums 2008. Unfortunately, his singing style is quite dour and doesn't have a great range and the musical style is a rather dated guitar and piano mix. Many of the songs have clumsy lyrics, particularly the jazzy "You're My King" with the chorus "woah oh, you're my King, woah oh, woah, oh." The songs "I Am By Your Side" and "Revival In This Land" are slightly better offerings but in truth none of these songs really rise above the mediocre.
