Here we have another excellent tool for musicians to pick up new songs on the worship scene. The printed songbook contains words, chords and melody lines of the songs on the Desperation Band's 'Everyone Overcome' album and though, in the UK at least, DB aren't particularly well known their songs are well above average. On the audio CD there are full mix and acoustic only tracks of each song enhanced with chord charts and lead sheets in PDF, as well as a lyrics text file. Also with the book comes the DVD featuring guitar, keyboards, drum and bass cams for each song (- at last someone understands how we musicians catch the how of songs). There are also live lyric selectable moving backgrounds to go with the split tracks to aid the worship atmosphere or practice session. This is great to encourage new musicians and an excellent tool that can be used by individuals to practice and improve their skills at home or in the group rehearsals.
