This musical memento of last year's Detling Bible Week in Kent is strangely appealing. The worship leaders featured are doing nothing particularly new, and to be honest, they're not doing it outstandingly well. Yet in the midst of what at first listen sounds like a very average live album, God himself seems to shine through in abundance. It's an indication that the participants had their hearts in the right place, and as such there's an almost angelic quality about the whole thing. If you're looking for slick and well-crafted worship, buy a Vineyard album. But if you want to be led in simple, heartfelt praise, you could do a lot worse than this.
