'The Healing Songs' had me doing a double lake - was that Michael Jackson on "I Am Healed"? We're talking Jacko pre-wacko days here. In other places, he sounds like Stevie Wonder. The delightful ballad "On My Knees" reminds us that God is our focus and our source, the one who brings us healing and comfort. This is the ministry that the other two albums don't offer and it's reflective, honest and heartfelt. There's acappella thrown in to keep the worshipful feel in "Lord I Thank You" and the boy sure can sing! Reminded me a bit of Terence Trent D'Arby. Verdict? It seems that from one artist you can get three different sounds. Bargain!
