There is some very good laid-back gospel here that I did enjoy. But overall this album is a strange mixture of gospel singing, samples and instrumental. There are samples of preaching played over the beginning of a couple of tracks that unfortunately are not mixed as well as they could have been. Live exhortations from Doc Powell would have worked better. The title track does smack of American prosperity teaching and may put some people off, but the exhortation to overcome by faith is nevertheless very biblical. One of the instrumentals is an original arrangement of the traditional tune to which John Newton wrote "Amazing Grace". However it is so original as to be barely recognisable. And one track is a short interview with a church elder about the importance of Sunday morning. This, together with the fact that the last four tracks are reprises of earlier tunes - one longer than the original, means that out of 13 tracks we are only left with eight different tunes. I'm left feeling that this could have been very good indeed, if it had been assembled with more thought.
