If you are looking for a recording of your favourite opera excerpts sung with passion and enthusiasm with sensitive, fresh interpretation then this should be added to your collection. The recording manages to keep all the hallmarks of a live performance imperative in my mind when singing opera. The clarity of dic­tion combined with a huge and exhilarating range of emotion and dynamic con­tent will have you on the edge of your seat. Nessun Dorma, The Pearl Fishers Duet together with well-known pieces from Tosca, Rigoletto and The Magic Flute and more are featured. The Dominion International Opera on this CD are made up of Iwona Januszajtis (mezzo soprano), Hugh Legg (narrator/tenor), David Ashmore-Turner (tenor), Philip Carter (baritone), Sarah Colligan (sopra­no), Nigel Fair (bass), all of whom are accompanied meticulously and tenderly on piano by Linda Ang.
