This is a tribute album: not to a particular artiste, nor an individual songwriter but to the thousands of church choirs across the States who'll never win a Grammy, a Stellar or a Dove award. The songs are those typically sung at Sunday morning song festivals up and down the black churches of America. Along with DC Choral Kaleidoscope and the Atlanta Concert Choir, Rev Donald Vails whips up a storm of passion and excitement with just a little "testimony". The songs are the staples of traditional gospel - "God Is Still On The Throne", "God Can Deliver You", "I'll Praise His Name", "When I Think Of The Goodness Of Jesus" and a stack of others. No surprises, a few of the rough edges associated with live recording - but a great time is had by all.
