The Psalmist David proclaims 'The Lord is my Shepherd". God is our Shepherd and like a good shepherd he does not allow his sheep to stay in one place too long, but leads them into high places and rescues them from low places. Faithful sheep follow the good shepherd and are led safely into the restful place, a safe place into the Valley of God.

I praise God for the Good Shepard. As his sheep, I will continue to heed his voice and his voice alone. I pray that the generations to come realize that in electing to Follow Christ, they are acknowledging that in order to follow him, he sets the rules for what a CHRISTIAN is and is not. Any addition or deletion is not Him, rather becomes something else... When reflecting on the Shepard, the sheep move where he moves, come when he calls or they are lost. We would do well to remember this as we receive such wonderful encouragement from the likes of D. M. throughout this walk-race.
