Better known as Ishmael's and Noel Richard's guitarist, Doug has recently started to do some kids ministry in his own right. He is a red hot axe man, and a fine songwriter and here he has tried to put together a family concept album...a very difficult task! Some others have attempted this genre and failed miserably...others have had some success, but here Doug mixes slamming dance beats with blues, country and pop to make an album that many will be able to relate to. The excitement hardly ever lets up with only a few slower numbers on a 16 track strong album. It's funny, it's serious, it teaches, it leads in worship, it's well produced and arranged (take note USA Kids' producers), it's new material mixed with older tracks (if you can call Carman's "Who's In The House" old). Is there anything bad to say about this disc you ask. Well okay, one thing... Doug, buy a new waistcoat mate! Heck, it's the best family worship album in the world...ever! I wonder if I can get sued for saying that!
