After giving Dub War's debut a 10 star rating I feel like I should give this about 15. This is the bands third release, the second was a very limited 12" vinyl shared with Cowboy Killers, which slipped past the Cross Rhythms review section. 'Dub Warning' is six tracks of sheer guts, the boys are thragging themselves silly! Benji's lyrics are once again shouting protests about injustices with titles like "Words Of Warning' and 'Murder'. One of the outstanding tracks is 'Psycho System' with its hard I metal riffs and raw delivery and a smooth reggae tab glued on the end. 'Crack' is obviously an anti-drugs song which is partly biographical. By the time this published Dub War will almost certainly have signed a major deal; there are rumours in the home town of telephone number sums being offered, which I do not really find surprising. They are one of the most exciting bands to come out of South Wales for a long long time. Cross Rhythms have been raving about these guys for a year now. Find out why by sending off your dosh to Words Of Warning.
