The boys' debut for Earache is something of an expansion on previous output containing three very different versions of "Mental": Version 1 - usual Dub War punk mosh version, lots of thraggin' goin' on. Love it! Version 2 - "Jazzid" remix, featuring musicians from Jamiroquai and Brand New Heavies, with funky soul bass line and more intelligible vocal, a curious deviation but nevertheless appealing. Version 3 - "Ruyere" remix, very industrial feel to this one with extreme distortion on bass track and lots of underlying synths. All this shows what you can do with a band who don't fear experimentation and you drag in a few different producers. Track four "Dowit" gives the boys a chance to get back to the mosh, growls, grunts, screams, merciless guitar strangulation and heavy rhythm section. Look out for the album coming soon.
