Probably best-known as composer of the hit song "We Wanna See Jesus Lifted High", Doug has, for a few years now been turning his talents to children's ministry. With this fantastic DVD the Epsom-based singer/songwriter's aim was to turn the tables on the Darwinism found in most mainstream wildlife shows and present kids with the other side of the argument and give credit to God. Doug, under the guise of Duggie Dug Dug, and his enthusiastic team of presenters get the balance between education and monkey business just right, combining visits to Bristol's Noah's Ark Zoo with comedy sketches, puppetry, cartoons and great interactive sing-a-long tunes such as "Lovely Jubbly" and "You Won't Get To Heaven On The Back Of A Camel". The DVD also includes entertaining extras like a behind-the-scenes look into the making of the project, a blooper reel and extra animal action not contained in the main feature. A great companion book Seriously Awesome Animals will provide little ones with even more beastly shenanigans.
