Don't mean to dis the DC Talkers but I like ma funk uncut and ma rap hardcore. And these guys, along with SFC are the in-your-face real stuff, hard, sassy and taking no prisoners. Over a set of mean samples the guys bust a set of rapid syllable rhymes with all the attitude of the world's finest. It will take forty plays to work my way through the torrent of verbiage these guys kick up but already "Psyched By Your Ignorance" and the JA-tinged "Flee From Babylon" are firm favourites.

My dad bought this CD in the 90's, when it was new. It still has some flava, and if you ever hear it you will see how much gospel hip hop/rap has changed since the early 90's. I havn't heard thier latest album, but if you hear both you'll probbably notice a difference there too!

*This was my first exposure to hiphop, I played that tape until it died and I have been looking for the cd since. What would be even better was if they had a record made! Anyone know?
