A mid-price worship album which avoids the poor production values and lack of artist credits so often demonstrated on such CDs. The production here by Paul Burton is excellent, the contributors are classy (Cathy Burton, Ben Cantelon, David Lyle Morris, Marc James and others) and the songs come from the quality stables named Hughes, Redman, Prosch, Doerksen, Tomlin, Layzell, etc. Some of the arrangements are inventive ("Lord, Let Your Glory Fall"), others occasionally pedestrian (Caedmon's Call did a better version of "God Of Wonders"). But overall it comfortably keeps your interest and if you can't afford all the latest worship CDs or you want a primer for your local worship band, this is a worthy release, although I suspect you probably know how "I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever" goes by now.

Thanks for the review,

The review pretty much word for word says what we were aiming at when we embarked on producing these albums. As Davis has picked up on, we set out to make a really affordable album series, without compromising the production quality which is all too common in mid-priced compilation albums. We wanted to produce a series that consisted of a lot of the best songs around at the moment, and strangely enough aimed at a resourse for worship bands and also a very listenable album for those who can't afford to buy all the latest worship CD's....thanks for a very accurate review..
