I fell in love with the opener "Arise, King Of Kings" the first time I heard it Producer Dave Lynch concocts a richocheting groove worthy of a chart hit, Chi2 and Luca Genta weigh in with some dreamy violins and cello and Eoghan's husky voice trembles with passion as he ponders the Rock of our salvation. There are more musical delights elsewhere. One doesn't expect the pedal steel over those programmed beats for instance. But leaving aside the inventiveness of the arrangements/production it is the songs on which we must focus and here too the Irish worship leader who's risen to prominence through events such as Summer Madness shows himself to be very much in the worship tradition of Smith and Redman while aping neither. Penetrating pleas to go deeper ("Deeper Still"), God's unchanging faithfulness ("Faithful, You Are Faithful") and the sheer radiant beauty of the Son all point to a ministry definitely geared to enrich the Church.
