Eric is an urban artist hailing from New York with a pastor for a father. Musically Eric began in mainstream music and you can hear traces of modern R&B and hip-hop throughout this album. The title track is an upbeat congratulation to all people who have accepted Christ. The album mainly focuses on God's love and how it can take you from hard and troubled times. Songs like "Faithful" and "U Need God" comment on the Lord's faithfulness. Often, the style here harkens back to '90s R&B while Eric's smooth, soulful voice easily meanders around the R&B grooves and easy listening soul ballads. Unfortunately, much of the album suffers from sameness of approach and though "My Everything" and "Bandwagon" have their moments it will take a stronger album than this for Eric to be noticed in the crowded R&B gospel scene.
