A Hertfordshire-based four-piece deliver a five-song EP. The opening piano riff of "Go" quickly gives way to thumping bass and grungy guitars with a high energy vocal that invites comparison with the Kings Of Leon. The syncopated piano and quiet vocals of "Dawn" almost drop away before the chorus kicks in with a vengeance in a song brimming with hope that is to come. "Deflated" is a much simpler arrangement giving the vocals space to soar in an almost Coldplay style. "I've Been Here Before" starts quietly with gentle guitar and vocal melodies but rises progressively before delivering a nice sting in the tail. Finally, "Unknown" is an emotional and musical rollercoaster looking at the struggles ahead in life and concluding that "I know there is hope". A very accomplished debut and a band to watch out for.
