Here is a live collection of varied gospel material, winging its way in from the States, which will undoubtedly light up fans of the genre. The choir which derives its name from its pilot Frank Anthone White, shuffles along at an increasing warp factor pace, which must leave a live audience short of breath but soaring with gratitude at being navigated through an unforgettable worship experience. Obviously, attempting to transfer any live experience to a CD in your living room leaves the engine of the gig firing slower, but even at second hand, this set is admirable. The opening take off is sharp, the production is well coordinated throughout, arrangements of quite differing styles are crisp, but what shoots the whole shebang into hyperspace are the vocals - rarely will you hear such talented solos, such impressive Red Arrows-style harmonies, such explosive passion and with the album's outstanding track "So Send I You" such an ignited call to discipleship and outreach. For gospel lovers everywhere - you'll believe you can fly!
