Having sold nearly two million albums and accumulated seven number one radio singles, American band FFH have taken stock by releasing this retrospective of songs from their 10 year tenure with Essential Records. Spanning seven albums, only 10 tracks have been picked which, given the amount of quality material that FFH have released in the past, does seem a bit measly. Nonetheless, the songs on offer here are top notch and include the quirky "Big Fish" and the anthem-like "One Of These Days" from 1998's 'I Want To Be Like You' - both of which showcase the stunning harmonies and slick Nashville production of Scott Williamson that have become FFH's trademarks over the years. Elsewhere, the guitar-lead "Fly Away" and the lush pop of "You Found Me" maintain the album's almost constant breakneck tempo whilst the group show a more contemplative side in the meditational song of hope "Still The Cross" from the album of the same name. Whilst this release won't add much value to the established FFH fan's collection, it does give the unfamiliar listener a taste of one of CCM's most enduring and creative bands.

Product Description
In 1998 a small independent band caught the attention of Essential Records when
its song, Big Fish, became the highestcharting independent artist song in the history of Christian radio in the US. This was a sign of things to come.
Since that time FFH have released six albums, selling more than one and a half million albums in total worldwide. Now some of the greatest moments of FFH’s career to date are captured in Far From Home – The FFH Collection.
Packed with signature harmonies and FFH’s upbeat, acoustic-pop sound, fans can stroll down memory lane and experience their favourites, all in one place. Far From Home was the band’s first name that was later shortened to simply FFH. Knowing most of us are far from our eternal home, the band has always had a strong mission of
faith to reach the lost and encourage believers... a mission that continues on through the band and its music.
